Pathology is the medical specialty concerned with the study of the nature and causes of diseases, it underpins every aspect of medicine. Any removals during a procedure will be sent to pathology for testing by a specialist pathologist, with the results sent back to your Currimundi Skin Clinic Doctor, usually within 24-48 hours.
Currimundi Skin Clinic have onsite QML open daily and also have access to Medlab Pathology, who are a specialised laboratory which provides comprehensive dermatopathology services Australia-Wide. They provide skin diagnostics for inflammatory disorders, melanocytic lesions, non-melanoma skin cancers and hair and nail pathology.
